{"id":963,"date":"2006-11-15T09:36:40","date_gmt":"2006-11-15T09:36:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.131.168.108\/wordpress\/?p=963"},"modified":"2014-01-04T03:18:28","modified_gmt":"2014-01-04T03:18:28","slug":"963","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elhogue.com\/shannah\/2006\/11\/15\/963\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Things I did yesterday:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dropped off our recyclables at Home Depot<\/li>\n<li>Went to Kroger &amp; Sam&#8217;s Club<\/li>\n<li>Rearranged my dresser\/closet so my winter clothes are now easily accessible again.<\/li>\n<li>Did a load of ironing clothes AND ironed them! <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/images\/stunned.gif\"><\/li>\n<li>Cleaned my kitchen counters (twice!)<\/li>\n<li>Swept the kitchen floor<\/li>\n<li>Worked on Christmas program stuff<\/li>\n<li>Graded<\/li>\n<li>Talked to Karen on the phone briefly<\/li>\n<li>Made dinner\n  <\/li>\n<li>Watched a movie with Eric<\/li>\n<li>Read for a bit and went to bed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So it was a productive day.&nbsp; Today will be busy (classes, more<br \/>\nadvising meetings, drama rehearsal this evening), but not terribly<br \/>\nbad.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I was in line at Kroger, and the cashier was<br \/>\nchatting with these two ladies who were checking out.&nbsp; They got<br \/>\nall done and then realized the lady didn&#8217;t have enough money in her<br \/>\naccount to cover her purchases, so then they had to start taking some<br \/>\nthings back off until the total was low enough for her (which also<br \/>\nrequired supervisor override).&nbsp; So they finally left and the guy<br \/>\nin front of me handed the lady a blank check to cover his purchases.<br \/>\nThey can print the total for you, but the cashier wasn&#8217;t paying<br \/>\nattention and put in the wrong amount on the guy&#8217;s check.&nbsp; He had<br \/>\nbrought only one check with him, so they ended up having to have him<br \/>\npay the $8 left in cash.&nbsp; Thankfully, my turn came and there were<br \/>\nno issues.&nbsp; But seriously&#8230;it&#8217;s not THAT hard, is it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things I did yesterday: Dropped off our recyclables at Home Depot Went to Kroger &amp; Sam&#8217;s Club Rearranged my dresser\/closet so my winter clothes are now easily accessible again.
