{"id":716,"date":"2007-12-03T07:11:19","date_gmt":"2007-12-03T07:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.131.168.108\/wordpress\/?p=716"},"modified":"2014-01-04T03:17:57","modified_gmt":"2014-01-04T03:17:57","slug":"716","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elhogue.com\/shannah\/2007\/12\/03\/716\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font style=\"font-weight: bold;\" size=\"4\">Hallelujah!<\/font><\/p>\n<p>The Christmas program is over.&nbsp; Praise Jesus!&nbsp; There were a lot of very stressful moments, and there will be a meeting or two, I&#8217;m sure, to discuss the issues raised by the weekend&#8217;s activities.&nbsp; But it is now over. And last night was the most relaxing evening I&#8217;ve had in a long, long time!&nbsp; And most importantly, God did bless, and a number of people responded to the gospel, including a lady who is dying of cancer, a friend of one of the choir ladies.&nbsp; God is so awesome!&nbsp; Thanks for all the prayers.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, I don&#8217;t have much else to say since the program pretty much filled my weekend.&nbsp; Friday night, we went straight to the church after a light supper and crashed into bed after the program.&nbsp; Saturday was a pretty relaxing day.&nbsp; I got a number of things done before heading to the church again.&nbsp; Then yesterday, after church, Eric and I went out for dinner (Chinese) and to a bookstore.&nbsp; We had a nice time hanging out together!&nbsp; Then a bit of resting, hanging a little garland, and grading was all we did before heading to church for the final performance.&nbsp; So that was the weekend!<\/p>\n<p>This is the last full week of classes for the term at CU, and tonight is my almost last grad class.&nbsp; This week is all about revisions and conferences and final &#8220;fixes&#8221; to my students&#8217; papers, so I don&#8217;t have to lecture or do much prep or anything (how nice!).&nbsp; I love the feeling that comes when you realize the end is truly in sight!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hallelujah!
