{"id":699,"date":"2008-01-02T08:34:48","date_gmt":"2008-01-02T08:34:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.131.168.108\/wordpress\/?p=699"},"modified":"2008-01-02T08:34:48","modified_gmt":"2008-01-02T08:34:48","slug":"699","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elhogue.com\/shannah\/2008\/01\/02\/699\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Bad\/Ugly&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is freakin&#8217; cold.&nbsp; My poor house has trouble when it&#8217;s <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">this<\/span> frigid outside!<\/li>\n<li>Weathermen really don&#8217;t know what they&#8217;re talking about. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/images\/whatevah.gif\"><\/li>\n<li>I had some weird infection in my eyelid this week.&nbsp; Thankfully, it looks much better today. <\/li>\n<li>Sadly, we have had to move forward into the world of medical intervention in our pursuit of parenthood.&nbsp; Please pray for us if you think of it (for me, especially&#8230;I&#8217;ve been struggling with discouragement about the whole thing).<\/li>\n<li>I really have a lot of work to do to prepare for classes next week.&nbsp; I should get to work on that soon.&nbsp; (We&#8217;ll see if it happens!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Very Good&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It was a great holiday season in many ways. <\/li>\n<li>We had a small New Years gathering at our friends&#8217; house.&nbsp; Good food, laughter, chatting&#8230;great times&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>I really enjoyed having Eric home so often in the last two weeks.&nbsp; Sometimes it&#8217;s weird, but this time, the company was very nice!<\/li>\n<li>Eric loved the Christmas gifts I got for him! <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/images\/cool.gif\"><\/li>\n<li>I still have a few more days before I have to start &#8220;life&#8221; again!<\/li>\n<li>My Christmas decorations are all put away again, and having the house back to &#8216;normal&#8217; has been surprisingly refreshing. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/images\/pleased.gif\"><\/li>\n<li>Eric and I made dinner (chili) together last night.&nbsp; Yummy!<\/li>\n<li>Karen only has, like, 6 weeks of school left to teach this year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyway, today will be an errands day, for the most part.&nbsp; I do have an eye checkup this morning, and I should call the dentist to make an appointment.&nbsp; And sometime soon, I need to get my oil changed.&nbsp; Maybe I can work that in today!&nbsp; Happy Wednesday to you all!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bad\/Ugly&#8230; It is freakin&#8217; cold.&nbsp; My poor house has trouble when it&#8217;s this frigid outside!
