{"id":654,"date":"2008-03-05T08:41:09","date_gmt":"2008-03-05T08:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.131.168.108\/wordpress\/?p=654"},"modified":"2008-03-05T08:41:09","modified_gmt":"2008-03-05T08:41:09","slug":"654","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elhogue.com\/shannah\/2008\/03\/05\/654\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I feel like I don&#8217;t have much to say today, so this might be short.<\/p>\n<p>I was pretty busy all day yesterday.&nbsp; I voted, went to the post office, and stopped at Kroger on my way home.&nbsp; I met a friend for lunch <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">(Applebee&#8217;s for soup\/salad combo)<\/span>, and then spent the rest of the afternoon at my sister&#8217;s house keeping her (and Jason) company.&nbsp; I didn&#8217;t get home until 6:00, and Eric didn&#8217;t get home until almost 7:00.&nbsp; We had dinner and then just crashed on the couch for the evening.&nbsp; I read for a while before turning out my light at 9:30.&nbsp; <br \/><br style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">EDIT: Karen is doing pretty well.&nbsp; She&#8217;s getting enough sleep to stay &#8220;just-this-side&#8221; of exhaustion.&nbsp; The baby is (mostly) eating well, but he&#8217;s a little lazy she said.&nbsp; If it&#8217;s &#8220;too hard&#8221; to get the nipple in his mouth, he just gets mad. He also does NOT like a messy diaper.&nbsp; He won&#8217;t even eat until he&#8217;s changed.&nbsp; They&#8217;re working on getting him to stay away for &#8220;play time&#8221; between feedings and naps, and she said he sleeps pretty well between 8 pm and 2 am, but after that, it&#8217;s hit or miss.&nbsp; Her stitches are still hurting her some, but Advil is a new mom&#8217;s best friend, and we tried to keep the giggling, coughing or other motions to a minimum.&nbsp; End EDIT<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Today, I have few plans.&nbsp; I should clean my bathrooms.&nbsp; I could vacuum.&nbsp; I might go spend my gift card to Barnes &amp; Noble.&nbsp; Maybe I&#8217;ll just sit on the couch and knit.&nbsp; This evening, I have to take dinner to a couple that just had a baby, but other than that, we shall see&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Happy Wednesday!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I feel like I don&#8217;t have much to say today, so this might be short.
