{"id":365,"date":"2009-07-02T09:23:32","date_gmt":"2009-07-02T09:23:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.131.168.108\/wordpress\/?p=365"},"modified":"2009-07-02T09:23:32","modified_gmt":"2009-07-02T09:23:32","slug":"slow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elhogue.com\/shannah\/2009\/07\/02\/slow\/","title":{"rendered":"Slow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I feel slow this morning.&nbsp; Xanga is slow this morning.&nbsp; The babies are already about ready for a nap.&nbsp; A sloooow morning, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, I need to have a fast and productive day today in order to be ready for our trip tomorrow.&nbsp; Of course, nothing on my list will really take hours (except maybe packing), but I need to be better about staying focused and doing all the things on my list instead of goofing off.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I did go to the zoo with the babies yesterday.&nbsp; It was a bit chilly and we did get rained on a little bit, but it was nice to get out and walk around and stop only at the exhibits that I wanted to see.&nbsp; Unfortunately, the otters were closed, though, so I didn&#8217;t get to see every one of my favorites.&nbsp; But with our spiffy new zoo pass, I guess I&#8217;ll just have to go again soon to see the otters!<\/p>\n<p>As of a few days ago, I had decided to keep nursing the twins for a while longer.&nbsp; I simply figured that there was no real reason to stop at this point and I needed to remember to enjoy the time we have with them at this stage.&nbsp; Of course, in the last week or so, Alex has seemed to have fewer dirty diapers and a bit of constipation.&nbsp; This was the one thing the pediatrician said would indicate they aren&#8217;t getting enough to drink.&nbsp; So, either my supply is a bit down because their appetites were low because of their colds last week.&nbsp; Or I may need to move to formula sooner after all so that I can make sure he&#8217;s getting enough liquids in his day.&nbsp; I am planning to keep an eye on him for a few more days (since I don&#8217;t want to make a big change while we&#8217;re traveling) and see if things improve.&nbsp; If not&#8230;then let the weaning begin!<\/p>\n<p>I think that&#8217;s all the big news of the day.&nbsp; And as I probably won&#8217;t post tomorrow, here are a few pictures of the babies to end the week. <\/p>\n<p>Gotta love this smile!<br \/> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/xca.xanga.com\/c85f64e347d37247989590\/b196631992.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"AlexSmile\" style=\"border-style: none; border-width: 0px;\" src=\"http:\/\/xca.xanga.com\/c85f64e347d37247989590\/s196631992.jpg\" width=\"314\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s doing her pushups!<br \/> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/x9a.xanga.com\/95ff96e747d36247989592\/b196631994.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"ErinPushup\" style=\"border-style: none; border-width: 0px;\" src=\"http:\/\/x9a.xanga.com\/95ff96e747d36247989592\/s196631994.jpg\" width=\"314\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Mommy and babies (don&#8217;t you love Erin&#8217;s hair?)!<br \/> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/x9d.xanga.com\/45ef841bc4339247989595\/b196631997.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"MomandErin\" style=\"border-style: none; border-width: 0px;\" src=\"http:\/\/x9d.xanga.com\/45ef841bc4339247989595\/s196631997.jpg\" width=\"314\"><\/a>  <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/xf3.xanga.com\/402f801b24336247989594\/b196631996.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"MomandAlex\" style=\"border-style: none; border-width: 0px;\" src=\"http:\/\/xf3.xanga.com\/402f801b24336247989594\/s196631996.jpg\" width=\"314\"><\/a> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I feel slow this morning.&nbsp; Xanga is slow this morning.&nbsp; The babies are already about ready for a nap.&nbsp; A sloooow morning, I guess.
