Columbus during football season is just a crazy place to live!\u00a0 I
\nran to the grocery store today and at least half of the people in the
\nstore were wearing scarlet and grey and at least half of those (and
\nsome of the others) were obviously getting food and drinks for their
\n“First Game of the Season” party.\u00a0 I mean, it’s the first game of
\nthe season, and it’s not even a conference game!\u00a0 The funny thing
\nis that I went to OSU, and I really like to watch football.\u00a0 But
\nthere is just a level of insanity about the Buckeyes here that is
\nmind-blowing!<\/p>\n
The crazy part is that my husband couldn’t care less about
\nfootball.\u00a0 He is not a sports guy at all.\u00a0 In fact, he very
\nmuch despises team sports!\u00a0 It’s sometimes strange to be married
\nto someone for whom sports is not a central part of their being.
\nMy brother, and to some extent my dad, is a HUGE sports fan.\u00a0 He
\nwatches multiple channels of multiple sports pretty much every
\nday.\u00a0 In high school, he got B’s and C’s, but my mom said he’d
\nprobably do better on his science and history tests if the information
\nwas somehow inserted in the Sporting News instead of printed in
\ntextbooks.\u00a0 So that’s what I was used to, what I was expecting to
\nencounter when I got married.\u00a0 And instead, I like the sports more
\nthan my husband does!\u00a0 See…God does have a sense of humor!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
