So last night, the emergency broadcast system kept interrupting the television programming to warn us about the coming snow. My husband kept calling it the “white death” because the media gets all spastic about the impending doom, and then it usually turns out to be a dusting of snow or less! Anyway, Eric got up before me today (I sleep in until 7:00 on Tuesday) and when he came out of the bathroom, he said, “Look at the white death” and pulled up the shade. <\/p>\n
NOT A SPECK OF SNOW TO BE SEEN!<\/p>\n
Of course, at about 9:00 it did finally start snowing, and it’s been snowing every since, so we’ll probably end up getting the 1-3″ they were expecting. But I thought it was funny!<\/p>\n
I was grumpy last night…just couldn’t get my attitude right. It was probably because I had to teach grammar in all my classes yesterday, and I knew they weren’t very interested. That’s gets really draining. Oh well…I’m better this morning. And I have lots of projects to work on today, so that will also help some. I have some writing to do, and I should clean the bathrooms. In fact, it’s about time to start the laundry again (I didn’t do or mention laundry the entire time you all were in Chicago…so now I guess it’s time to start it again!).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
