I just found out that my best friend and roommate from college is pregnant again (sorry guys…it’s not me!).  Mike & Erika got married in July after we graduated and then had a surprise baby who was born the following September.  Then when they were ready to have another, they had a hard time getting pregnant.  So there are 4 years between their first and second.  This will be their third, only 2 years after the second which is good.  Anyway, I thought it was fun!<\/p>\n

Today I’m having some friends over for lunch.  We’ve decided to get together every Thursday at lunchtime for talking and accountability, and I’m hosting today.  It should be lots of fun!  I’m making chicken salad sandwiches with grapes and almonds in it.  They’re bringing a side dish and dessert.<\/p>\n

I also really need to run some errands today.  I may try to get out before they come, but it might have to wait until evening.  We’ll see.  At least my house is already clean from last weekend (okay I had to tidy up a little bit) when we hosted our small group!  That saves time and hassle.  And I even remembered to get the garbage out this morning.  I’m on a roll, I guess!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
