Yesterday, I hung out at home.  It did rain some (less than 1/10 of an inch according to our rain gauge) but the flower beds were still a bit wet this morning, and my impatiens looked very happy!   So I’ll be thankful for even that much rain.  And my container garden is doing very well now, so that’s exciting too!

I spent most of my day cleaning the loft yesterday.  I sorted out old bills, shredded stuff, and filed the information we keep.  Then I vacuumed and dusted.  The carpet really needs to be cleaned, but I didn’t to that yet.  I also washed the floors in the bathrooms, and since I had the soapy water, I also swept up and mopped the kitchen floor.  I also unintentionally got sucked into working in my closet, so I weeded out some clothes we never wear and rearranged the rest of the clothes to make better use of the space.  I think we need bigger dressers so that we can get rid of the plastic shelves/bins we hide in the closet.  Or maybe we should just get rid of a few more things we never wear!

Today, I’m going to hang out with some friends of mine from church.  We met weekly for an accountability group last year, but haven’t done that in a while.  It might be nice to start that up again, but who knows!  For today, we’ll just have lunch and chat for a few hours.  After that, I don’t know what I’ll do, but I’m sure something will present itself!
