So many things to be thankful for.
- It’s Wednesday!
- It might rain in the next 36 hours!
- I’m 1 1/2 chapters from finishing my book project (first draft)!
- I have the best husband in the world (for me anyway)!
- I have wonderful friends (on and off Xanga) who care about me and pray for me and are generally fabulous!
- Jesus loves me!
- God has blessed us in so many ways!
Actually, I was looking at some websites the other day that list volunteer opportunities in/around Columbus. I really think it would be a great idea to find a place to volunteer. I have a lot of free time, especially in the summer, and there are so many people who could use a hand. I still haven’t found just the right one yet, but with all that God has given me, perhaps it’s time to give back.
New topic:
So yesterday, I cleaned some of the carpets upstairs with the carpet cleaner my parents bought us for Christmas last year (so we could stop borrowing theirs!). It was the first time I’ve used it, and it works really well. It’s also scary how black the water came out in rooms that do not look that dirty.
But I did the loft and upstairs hallway, so maybe today I’ll start working on the other rooms upstairs. It’s a good summer job, really.
I just borrow the carpet cleaners from work…cheaper, but less convenient since I have to load and unload the cleaner and it’s quite heavy!! But having clean carpets is worth it!!
Wow! You sound so positive today!!
Yuck to dirty carpets!
I just had to go to Miejer the other day to buy a full size bottle of the cleaner, since it took the whole trial size the first time I did my living room floor.
Carpet cleaners are SO nice to have! With two dogs and a small child, Kyle uses ours a lot. Just thinking about Kayla crawling around on what the dogs leave behind is enough motivation for him! And SO much cheaper than having Stanley Steamer or some other company come out!
Ooooh…I want a carpet cleaner!
