It doesn’t take long for school to get back in session, I’ll tell you that!

I got up at 6:00 am and walked (I realized I was nervous about the day,
so I especially needed the 30 minutes of prayer time!) and then got
ready to go.  I even got Eric’s coffee and lunch made at the usual
time.  I’m such a good wife.

So far, I’ve had meetings, chapel, and about an hour of office work to
prepare for my advising meetings this afternoon.  I might try to
meet my mom for lunch, but we’ll see how that goes.  She’s always
crazy busy this time of the semester.

My first grad school class is tonight from 6-8:30.  At least I
know I can get there.  And I know where my class is meeting,
too.  So hopefully, I’ll actually adjust back to being the student
again easily.

Anyway, just wanted to check in before the entire day got away from me.  Happy Monday!

  1. What a woman. “…bring home the bacon…cook it up in a pan!”

I too always got nervous the first day. I NEVER slept the night before. I would play and replay my opening comments in my head.

  2. I still get nervous on the first day of school, too. Glad to know I’m not the only one. Are you taking two different courses this semseter? What’s tonight?
