I think that all your prayers were incredibly helpful yesterday…I had a good day, got lots done, and was in a generally good place heading in to the weekend. So thanks for the love and prayers!
Today has been pretty good. I emailed Eric’s mom last night, and we talked on the phone this morning, and we decided to meet halfway so we can have Sunday dinner with his family on his birthday. I haven’t told him yet, so we’ll see how long I wait before I tell him. Maybe I’ll keep it a total surprise…maybe not.
My classes have been pretty empty so far today, but it’s Friday and it’s Parents/Grandparents day. So that probably explains a lot of it. Frankly, I’d like to be somewhere else myself, but I’ll be good and finish my classes, too. I’m such a good worker!

I am horrified and disgusted that college students would not attend class!!!
We once put a note on the door of our Sight-Singing and Dictation class cancelling it, then hid and watched the ditsy teacher read the note, say, “Hmmm! Ok.” and then trip away to play her oboe. Wonderful. She probably wanted no more to do with us than we did with her!!!
