…Polo!

Sorry for my tardiness today…it was a very busy  Monday!

We got up late, and I had to hurry to get around.  I had to replace my Xanga time with other things, including baking some chicken breasts for a meal I’m taking to a couple who just had a baby.  I meant to bake the chicken yesterday and I forgot.  But it’s cooked now and waiting for me in the fridge!

I also had to put gas in my car this morning.  It would figure that, on the freakin’ coldest day of the year, I’d have to put gas in my car!   It would also figure that I had to scold my students for showing up in short-sleeves and flimsy jackets.  Children!

Anyway, I had a meeting during chapel, so I had to get stuff done before then…which meant no time for Xanga then either.  And now it’s 1:45, and I’m just now here.  But…here I am!

I guess I’ll post a weekend report tomorrow, when I’m stuck at home in the snow.  We’ll see how bad it really is, but I do hope it snows a good bit.  We shall see…

I’m glad you’re OK. I had to get gas as well…right after an hour at the Y…sopping wet hair and all. I looked ravishing.

All people under the age of about 28 are idiots.

  2. My husband just brought me the weather report.  Ugh.  Snow is wonderful but not if a) it means I have to spend all day tomorrow with cranky 5 yr-olds or b) I don’t get to go to ladies night out tonight.

  3. ^ Do not try to drive in the snow! ^

They were seriously wearing short sleeves?? Idiots.

I got gas on Saturday even though I didn’t need it. I knew I was getting low, and it was supposed to be getting colder, so I figured I’d just get it over with! Glad I did!

  4. It’s supposed to snow?!  I should pay more attention to weather forecasts and such.  That explains why the new girl asked me this what we do if it snows really bad.  I didn’t even let her finish the question – we come to work.  Period.  And bring jeans to sort if needed.  (Except me – pregnant and all!)
