I didn’t recap yesterday, so maybe I’ll do that this morning.
Friday: mostly uneventful day. We did a lot of goofing off. We had a cookout at a friend’s house to attend that evening. It was supposed to start at 5:00. Apparently I missed that until 4:20 when I looked at the time and then had to hurry to make my pie. We were late. But we had a great time talking and making some new friends.
Saturday: another mostly uneventful day, at least in the morning. In the afternoon, my parents came up. My mom, sister and I got our nails done, Karen’s husband watched Jason, and Eric took my dad to MicroCenter where my dad drooled over the Notebook PC. Then we had tacos for dinner at Karen’s house and then home to bed.
Sunday: church in the morning, then some friends took us out to dinner as a thank-you for letting them use our carpet cleaner a few months ago. I’d forgotten all about it! After we got home, I sat for the rest of the day. And I went happily to bed at about 9:00 after watching the Olympic trials for a while!
Yesterday: Nothing too exciting there either. I cleaned up the house a bit and started a load of laundry. It’s still in the dryer this morning. And I ran some errands as well. Other than that I read a book and ate my snacks until Eric got home. Then I almost ruined dinner (it was saved) and chatted with our neighbors while Eric hacked down our forsythia bush which was starting to look more appropriate to a jungle habitat at the zoo. Then…off to bed!
Okay, I think that’s all I’ve got. Happy Tuesday!
@terriwright – Must be! I’ll be glad for the company.
I must be having twins…our bumps almost match, AND I’m consuming more calories……………………………….
Do you have a special “twin diet” during your pregnancy? Do you have to eat more of a certain thing (protein)? Just curious, as I know that you have to consume more calories than if you were carrying one baby.
Just wait until those babies arrive. I’ll bet there will be clothes in the dryer more often!!
@mke813 – She just leaves them in the dryer so she can have more to iron. She loves it so.
You seem so on top of laundry — I would have never guessed you left clothes in the dryer overnight!!
@ch1pch0p – Later than 5:00…more like 6 or 7, I guess. Teach me to read my Evites more closely!
What time did you think the cookout started?
