Finally, as promised, some pictures from Wednesday’s appointment:
Our BOY (arm by the face and a foot):
And our GIRL (profile and leg/foot):

Yesterday, I did finish canning all the peaches I will be canning this year. I still have a few peaches left for eating or maybe freezing. But we shall see.
We’re planning to head to the farm for a visit this weekend. I think we’ll be leaving tomorrow, so I don’t have to get ready to leave until then.
Last night, I did not sleep well. Not sure why. I just tossed and turned all night. Crazy. Of course, my restlessness was not helped by the fact that a neighbor’s car alarm kept going off. It went off twice before 11 p.m., once sometime in the very early morning hours, and once more about 7:30. Not a good sound at those time, I assure you.
Today, my agenda currently consists of sweeping/cleaning all the non-carpeted floors in my house (kitchen and bathrooms, mostly). They are dis.gus.ting. Time to get on that.
Other than the floors (and recording my recent purchases in our Money program, per Eric’s request), I have nothing much planned. I think Eric might have taken my car to work today (the Jeep is having radiator issues), but I haven’t looked to be sure. If he did, I’ll pretty much just stay home. If not, maybe I’ll think of someplace to go. Or maybe I’ll read. Or perhaps start knitting baby blankets for the afore-mentioned babies. Or maybe I’ll just turn on the the TV and sit in front of it all day. That sounds good, too. We shall see…
Happy Friday!

@kellycohan – It’s up to you. More won’t hurt anything. It’s cheap, too. I do about 1 cup per gallon of water.
^ I was thinking the same thing – no one commented on that?? ^
Re: names. I would have such a hard time picking two names at a time. We had a hard enough time with one that a) we both liked and b) didn’t conflict with our last name. Now you have to add c) go with each other. But I’m sure you’ll do fine! Can’t wait to see them.
@gsowell – new tank every time, darnit. Maybe I can figure out a way to refill. How much vinegar to water?
@faithchick – Did no one acknowledge your HILARIOUS comment about the twins having similar coloring?! You are soooo funny!
Shannah, you and your hubby make beautiful children. Can’t wait to see them on the outside of you!
@kellycohan – Is your the kind you can re-fill the tank, or do you have to buy a whole new tank of solution? If you can refill it, use vinegar water. No haze. No sticky floors. Just shiny and clean (and the smell dissipates very, very quickly).
@shannahhogue – bugger. I will say that ours leaves a bit of a haze on our hardwood floors. I joke that I need to skate around in my socks after using the WetJet to polish the haze off. 🙂 Although I sort of wonder if the haze would disappear if I just cleaned my floors more often!
That sounds like a lot of work…make your husband do it!!
@kellycohan – @faithchick – I actually have a Swiffer which I use for quick clean-ups. But it leaves my floors tacky, which I don’t like. So I use an Armstrong product and a sponge mop when I need to really clean my hard floors. And having thrown peach juice and sugar water all over…today is clean day!
@kellycohan – totally agree. i have a siwffer wetjet, andi LOVE it. it’s the only way i’ve been consistent with the cleaning.
@terriwright – LOL!
You should totally get a Swiffer Sweep-n-Vac and WetJet to tackle your hard floors. I too used to DESPISE cleaning my kitchen/bathroom/laundry room floors… until now. I do it more often now because I actually kind of enjoy it. Weird, I know. Hope this helps. 🙂
I love you. I know those are pics of VERY precious cargo, BUT – – they still look like aerial views of developing hurricanes. Pretty apt, when you think about it…..
@faithchick – Names are not picked yet, but we probably won’t share until they’re born. The fruit (apples/peaches) come from the orchard next to my in-laws dairy farm. When they were out last weekend, they brought me some!
How sad is it that you’re accomplishing more house-keeping than I am…and I am NOT pregnant with twins. Just mothering them. And they’re big. And in school. Ugh.
@ch1pch0p – yeah, they have really similar coloring.
i don’t remember, are the names picked and secret or are they not picked yet?
maybe you’ve said before, but i don’t remember. where do you get all your peaches? you got an orchard in your back yard?
I think they look alike!
Put in a Tom Hanks movie.
