Thanks to all those who served…how grateful I am for the sacrifices of the men and women in the armed forces.

But, today is also…Eric’s birthday!!!  SO…

HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY, ERIC!!!

And in his honor, here are 31 things I love about my husband:
1. His sense of humor
2. His eyes
3. His kiss (fan.tas.tic!)
4. How he sees the world a little differently from me
5. How much we see the world similarly
6. How well he takes care of me
7. That he is totally committed to Jesus.
8. That he is totally committed to me.
9. That he’s excited about our babies coming (he offered to let them come today…)
10. His ability to handle money
11. The fact that he puts up with all my craziness and crankiness
12. His ability to fix things…I always wanted a handyman!
13. The ways he’s like my Dad
14. The many more ways he’s nothing like my Dad!
15. How he can see details so much better than I can
16. That he curled up on the couch to watch a chick flick with me last night (and volunteered to do it!)
17. How much he loves to read and think and discuss
18. How he never complains about my cooking (he’ll eat anything!)
19. That he is able to keep all the computers running in the house so effortlessly
20. How he honors his parents and grandparents
21. That he really thinks things through before deciding on them (where I tend to make quick decisions)
22. His soft, strong hands
23. That he’s tall, dark and handsome!
24. That we both prefer the mountains to the beach
25. How he doesn’t whine like a baby when he’s sick (in fact, he doesn’t even tell me half the time!)
26. How well we complement each other
27. That he is going to willingly decorate the house for Christmas this year (should I be scared? )
28. That he never ceases to surprise me.
29. That he rarely complains
30. His self-confidence
31. That he is all mine!
