So yesterday turned out better than I expected.  My trip to the BMV took only 20 minutes total.  There was no line!  I also got my oil changed at Walmart in about 20 more minutes.  It was crazy!  Then the dinner, though not what I would call exciting, was good and we got done early, so I did get home before Eric was in bed.  That meant that we did get to talk a bit before we went to sleep.  So overall, the day went much better than I thought it would!

Today is supposed to be 55 degrees.  The weather guy called it “balmy.”  Boy is it going to be hard to go back to frigid temperatures again!

I’m so glad today is Friday.  I have my classes, and I have to meet a girl for lunch.  I’m really having trouble adjusting to this semester’s classes.  And with other meetings and such, not one day has been like another yet.  So hopefully, I’ll get caught up soon!

  1. You, Lindsey, and Michelle, Trisha. Sometimes, it can be a little difficult to follow conversations when you’re constantly changing topics!

  2. LOL! You’re so right! Umm….maybe that’s what makes xanga fun!

Try having a conversation with them, though. It’s the same way.

  3. See this is what I mean…you responded here to my comment on Michelle’s site. It’s no wonder I can’t keep up.

And it is easy to get confused when you have to think for over 40 students who can’t seem to think for themselves sometimes!

  4. That is so not even fair! When I went to the BMV a few weeks ago, I had to wait about 45 minutes. Oh well.

Glad the dinner last night didn’t take too long!

  5. I know about not having one day like another these days. For about 3 weeks, we had the same day every day pretty much. She put herself on that kind of schedule, too. She must have decided she didn’t like that much regularity because she switches it up every day now. Hopefully yours will settle down into a good routine, though. At least you have a little more control over it than I do.
Sounds like yesterday was a good day for running errands for you! I don’t know if there’s ever no line at the DMV here in Charlotte. They only have 3 offices for the whole city. Now I’m in a different county though so I could go out here and I think the line is usually shorter!!

  6. Doesn’t that just make your day when the BMV doesn’t have a line?  It’s just usually so time consuming, to have it go so quickly is great!
