I walked outside this morning. It was cold, but it’s getting light earlier everyday, and I just couldn’t stay inside. So I bundled up and walked in the neighborhood. Only my nose was a little cold!
Today I have to take Eric’s sunglasses back to Lenscrafters. The lenses aren’t fitting correctly into the frame (I don’t think you should see a gap between the lens and frame!). So we’ll see what that requires. I also think I’m going to go over to a Verizon store. Eric’s contract finally ran out (mine had run out last spring), so we can now get a family plan of some sort. We were going to go on Saturday while we were out getting his glasses, but the crowds (and crazy drivers) were getting to him, so we didn’t stop. So hopefully we’ll find a plan that will work for us. And…I can’t wait to get a new phone! Mine is VERY old and I’ve been nursing it along until now. So…that should be fun.
Other than that, I must grade today, and I think I’m going to try to finish the laundry (and ironing). So I guess it’s not that exciting, but hey, it’ll keep me busy!
If you’re willing to drive up here….
You know…I think I could make good money starting an ironing business.
Sounds like you have a lot to do today. If you can fit it in, I have a few things left to iron here, also. Anytime you can make it will be fine!!
That nameplate picture was taken with my camera phone — maybe you should take that into consideration as you look at phones!
ODOT has so much crap going on in Columbus it drives me crazy. Have I mentioned to you that Kevin works there? He really appreciates it when I complain…
I always do buy a cute outfit for a baby shower along with something practical. I never get 0-3 month size either because that’s what everyone gets. We actually ended up with a lot of 0-3 and a lot of 6-9 month clothes. I’m thinking now we do have a bit of 3-6 month stuff but not very much long sleeved. So we should be okay because she’s just now starting to wear 3-6 even though she’s 4 1/2 months old.
Verizon had good deals on phones when we got ours. Buy one get one free so it cost us $50 for two phones. Can’t complain about that since Sprint doesn’t have those good deals for existing customers!
Technically, you aren’t allowed to bring cameras on base here, and someone was actually told she couldn’t bring her phone in since it had a camera on it, so I figure it’s for the best!
Yeah…Eric has been on Sprint and I’ve been on Verizon until now. My mom and Karen are both Verizon, too, so that definitely works out well for us. And since Eric has used an average of 6 minutes a month on his plan for ages now, it seems like a good time to get the smallest family plan possible, even if it costs us to buy new phones. And my phone is so old it isn’t even a flip phone…I mean…that’s ancient! :0)
New phones are fun! Kyle makes fun of mine all the time just because it doesn’t have a camera on it, but it works just fine!
I’m with you on the glasses – sounds like something’s wrong!
You are constantly ironing!! I am not jealous of you at all.
We got the cheapest family plan we could and it’s plenty for us. Of course, my whole family is verizon now so calling them doesn’t count against the minutes. That’s mostly what I use it for so it’s very convenient. We have the same phones as Kim. I understand the old phone thing. We milked our Sprint phone about as long as we could before we switched to Verizon. I think the phone was only 2 1/2 years old byt that’s ancient for cell phones these days!
I noticed when I left the gym last night at 6 that it was still light — maybe spring is actually coming!
Getting a new phone is fun. I have an LG something from Verizon, and I like it.
If you could come over and do some ironing for me, too, I would LOVE that!
