Eric is taking a vacation day tomorrow (he needs it desperately), so today is Fri-Tuesday for him. It’s really just Tuesday for me, but that’s okay. ![]()
The babies are eating three meals a day, on top of my nursing, now. It’s a little hard to rearrange the eating schedule as I’ve gotten really good at every 3 hours. But now they can go longer because they’re getting other things to eat, too. But I’m totally lost on how to schedule them now. I guess I’ll just make it up and see what happens!
Yesterday’s roast in the crockpot turned out great. I tried the Italian beef sandwiches that bethelaine posted about a month or more ago. They are truly yummy! We also made our own chip dip (don’t be too impressed, the stuff I had was old so I improvised) with a Tastefully Simple seasoning option. A good dinner!
I also did a number of little chores yesterday that I was WAY behind on. Like updating the money program so Eric could crunch numbers from May. And putting away last week’s laundry which was still folded in our baskets at the foot of our bed. And such things.
Today I will be running to the grocery for my weekly trip. And maybe I’ll do a load of baby laundry. We shall see. Happy Fri-Tuesday!
I love Tastefully Simple! Yummy. 🙂
The problem with Fri-Tuesday’s are that you have to go back to work on Thursday. I hate that!! Are you going to do anything special or just hang out?
@BoureeMusique – I use that when I make “regular” roasts…fantastic! Also, the remaining broth makes fabulous gravy, and I think the soup is the key! YUM!
Laundry can be strangely fulfilling at times. Good to hear you’re getting so much done. A way to cheat with beef roasts of any kind: Campbell’s French onion soup.
so glad that you liked the sandwiches!! they make me so happy.
have a great day!
1 hand: not that you asked for advice…but i think when meals started entering the picture my kids would get milk in the am along w/ breakfast food (730ish).. then milk snack (10ish) then nap….lunchtime food(12ish)….milk before nap(1245ish)….milk when up from nap(3ish)…dinnertime food(5ish)..milk before bed. or something like that!
yay for wed. off for eric! enjoy!
