J was just telling me that he is so glad he will have ben to play with when our next little one is a newborn. I think it’s harder for men to connect at first.

Yeah, I’d say somewhere between 6 and 8 months.
I think my kids become more like real people about 6-7 months when they start sitting up. That’s when my hubby seems to start to connect with them more because he can play with them. When they’re little and just nursing all the time, it seems to be hard for him to connect. Maybe a guy thing? 🙂
I love every stage. They’re all so different and I love the stages for different reasons.
