Well, actually, Eric is home sick today. He’s got a sinus headache that comes and goes, but it kept him up a good bit of last night. I’m sure a day off will be good for him (he hasn’t had one since our June vacation)!
Yesterday, I sat on the couch with my feet up and read a book. And that is pretty much it. It was lovely.
I watch about 20 minutes of the Today show while I eat breakfast in the mornings (mostly to catch the weather). This morning, they had been “taken over” by the Muppets. It was strange. But the ones who were supposed to be Matt Lauer and Al Roker did actually look surprisingly like them…
Thanks for all the prayers about the itching. It was tolerable yesterday, but I think that’s mostly because I didn’t move a lot all day. Unfortunately, it gets worse as the day goes on, and it kept me up last night. But I have my 34 week doctor’s appointment today, so hopefully we can discuss the issue and come to a more helpful solution!
I think that’s about all I’ve got this morning. Wow…I’m really boring these days. I will have to work on that. Happy Thursday!

@ladyjabez – Thanks. I already know it is PUPPS. I hadn’t heard about the connection to pre-eclampsia, so I will be very interested to see what my blood pressure is today…
Ask your doctor if you have PUPPS…. that’s probably the terrible itching you are experiencing. They’ll need to watch that more closely because its the pre pre-eclamsia….. seriously….. I had it and I felt like I wanted to itch my skin off! It was terrible! It only got worse! Plus my blood pressure shot sky high. Seriously, if they say its “just dry skin” ask them specifically about PUPPS….. your doctor should know what it is (but its hard to get a diagnosis if they aren’t specifically looking for it). With mine I was able to take some meds that truly helped…. they also monitored me more closely for those few weeks before I delivered.
I’m so excited for you that you’ve made it to your 34-week appointment! That’s wonderful for you and the babies. I hope you and your doctor can figure out something to make you more comfortable for the duration… however long that is!

LOL at the Today show takeover! I would have enjoyed that. They reported the real news? How funny! Hope you can find a solution to your itching today–I’m praying! Oh, I hope Eric feels better soon.

Yeah, I did not understand that Today show AT.ALL.
