That’ll be me today. Eric’s project at work is scheduled for another long day today, and he always does those. So he won’t be home until 6 or 7 tonight. I’m sure I can amuse myself somehow…
Yesterday was good. Bible study, some chores and lots of relaxing before my in-laws came. They were out for Eric’s birthday. It was fun to spend time with them. We went out to dinner, and they bought us a chair for the nursery. Then we came back here, and Eric’s mom showed him her new computerized sewing/embroidery machine. My FIL and I watched television.
Oh! And she also brought a large black garbage bag full of clothes for the little girl from someone out at their church. Clothes, shoes, and socks from NB to 2 years, so we’ve got a good start on future needs for her now. Poor little boy, though, will need lots to catch up!
One quick request…my itching is getting pretty bad. The rash has spread all over my body from chin to feet, but the really problematic places are my hands (on the wrists, palms, knuckles and between fingers) and my ankles and feet (even between the toes). Most of the itching I can usually deal with, but the hands and feet are making life a little more complicated. When the hands flare up, I look as if I’m the villain in some cheesy movie, wringing my hands in my quest for world domination. So could you please pray that the itching would be relieved and the rash would stop spreading. I’m not sure I can do this for 27 more days…

i didn’t have a chance to sit & comment yesterday, but i did read–and i’m praying for you, too! i cannot even imagine. i have one tiny spot on my torso that has been itching like mad, and that alone is driving me bonkers. i can’t imagine my entire body feeling that way. how absolutely miserable. i’ll pray you find some relief today!

However, I must admit to chuckling as I pictured you as a very small, very pregnant, evil movie villian…complete with a “mwa-hah-hah” sort of laugh.
The problem is that boys ruin their clothing, so there’s not as much to pass on….
I’m praying for the itching. I only had it mildly. My sister had it more like you, I think. It was worst on her neck, and I know how she suffered, so I think I can pray accurately for your relief!
@shannahhogue – Well, duh to me – most baby furniture is that way!! Would there be photos online anywhere? I’m excited to see what you ended up with, since you had some pretty specific needs – small enough to fit in the nursery, big enough to nurse twins!
@kellycohan – Sadly, the chair has to come from the warehouse, so it’ll be a week or so before I can put up pictures.
Just prayed for you and the itchies, Shannah. Maybe posting a picture of your new nursery chair will distract you for a few minutes??
