Today, I’m 31 weeks pregnant. I’m hoping for at least 3 more weeks. But I think the end is getting nearer…
I have bible study this morning. I need to go dry my hair and put on some makeup before I go.
I ran up to the mall yesterday to see if I could find some clothes that fit and are appropriate for cooler weather. I tried some on at JC Penney. Then I discovered the maternity store is no longer there. I left the mall empty handed.
My biggest clothes dilemma is that a medium is often not long enough to cover my belly, but a large is just too big everywhere but on my belly (and sometimes even there). I’m not sure what to do about it. I hate the thought that, for my last few weeks of pregnancy, I’ll have to look bad every day. *sigh*
I’m really glad for the sunshine today, even if it’s pretty chilly out there. I
the sun!
I think that’s all I’ve got today. Happy Tuesday!
Yeah!! You are so close. Can’t wait to hear the news! 🙂
I vote for layers! Layers are très chic in Paris (even when you’re not pregnant). Hope you can find something that works.
^ Same here with the clothes thing. There just isn’t a lot to wear at the end. Kyle’s t-shirts were great if I wasn’t leaving the house. ^
I know quite a few people who wore their husband’s clothes the last few weeks of pregnancy. I know one person who wore football jerseys the last couple weeks because that’s all that really fit her comfortably. You’ll figure something out!
I hope you can keep them in for a few more weeks. Everything seems to be going well so far.
It’s exciting that those babies are behaving themselves and staying put for the time being! That bed rest thing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be!!
I wouldn’t worry too uch about the clothes issue. No one looks good by this stage in a pregnancy. Maybe your mom could sew you up a few shirts!!
@kellycohan – My blood sugar hasn’t been over (or even close to) the limit since I started checking it. The biggest challenge now is eating enough to stay ahead of them and still get what I need, too!
I see (size small) shrug sweaters layered over (size large) t-shirts in your immediate future!
I’m positive you look beautiful! And it is so exciting that the babies are doing SO well and are getting closer to making their debut!
How’s the meal planning/eating going?
i hear ya. while i’m certain you have me beat in the belly-size department–i’m having clothing issues, too. i can’t get my pants to stay up and i can’t get my shirts to stay down. i’ve become a big fan of matt’s sweaters lately. well, the ones he tried to get rid of last year, but that i kept for just such an occassion.
hang in there!!

31 weeks. Wow. And how exciting that they’re both big enough to be born already. But yes, those 3 extra weeks would be good. Don’t worry about how you look! Seriously!!
