Very Quick Post

I have bible study at the church this morning.

I haven’t done my hair yet.

I did finally get my insurance card scanned and printed so I could mail the copy today with my pre-registration form for the hospital.

I babysat Jason yesterday for Karen.  He’s very, very cute!

I think our Congress is filled with people acting more like children than my nieces typically do.

That’s it.  Happy Tuesday!

  1. I too had bible study this morning and did not finish my hair before I went.  Thanks goodness for hairclips!

Question:  I know you said at Xangafest you had 10 weeks to go yet…is that 10 weeks until you hit 38 weeks or would that be the full 40?

  2. @MlleBaroque – I wasn’t actually referring to the plan at all here (not a fan of “big” gov’t myself).  I’m not opposed to making sure the chosen measure is the right thing…I’m opposed to the manner in which the politicians are behaving (i.e. partisan = let’s use an economic crisis to get “our” guy elected).  Can we just do what’s best for the entire country right now?!?

  3. Ooh, yes on the Congress thing. Some of them ^ are being ridiculously childish.

What’s getting me is that some members of congress voted it down because their constituents are against the measure, becuase they say it’s rewarding bad behavior on Wall St. Ordinarily I’m all about reps listening to their constituents, but this time I’m mad at the constituents for being childish. At this point, the damage is done, and we need to keep the disaster from spreading to the rest of the economy. (Stepping down off soapbox now.)

  4. I could not believe that some Republicans said they didn’t vote for it simply because Pelosi said the “crisis” was Bush’s fault. PUH-lease! who cares what she says!?!?
