Hello? (hello hello hello) Anyone out there? (there there there)
These single vacation days make for very strange Xanga weeks, I must say!
So yesterday wasn’t terribly eventful. Eric and I both slept in (he later than I). I read the newspaper and worked on the computer until he got up. We watched two MacGyver episodes (a two-part story, really), and then Eric played on his computer for most of the afternoon. I read some, made desserts (angel food cake and brownies) and otherwise kept myself entertained until it was time to head over to Karen’s.
We met Mom & Dad there, and the six of us had dinner, watched TV, played with Maggie, and watched Night at the Museum. We missed the first 10 minutes of the Hilliard fireworks because of the end of the movie, but we saw the last 10 minutes. It was a lot like watching Cedarville’s Labor Day fireworks, but there were some really pretty ones. We all left about 10:30 and we were in bed by 11:00 since Eric had to work this morning.
Kathy’s idea rocks! Get on it! And I have tons of projects for you, but they are all too far away to be very practical.
I have come up with a new project for you. You could come here and get the pattern for the baby wall hangings that I do for grandbabies and start some for me. Then, I could just fill them in when someone announces that they are pregnant again!! How about that?
Sure wish I had some leftover frosted brownies, today (sigh)
^ Nope, they were just really hungry for some sweet stuff! ^
Sounds like the Westerville fireworks… although they did have some happy face fireworks which were pretty cool!
Sounds like a good holiday! Were the desserts for the time at Karen’s house?
