I am still not five feet tall! Dang it! It is so unfair to be so close (less than a quarter of an inch) and yet so far away!
I found out this very important fact today at my physical. I decided a while back that, with my 30th birthday approaching in a couple months, I should get a base-line physical checkup. So I did! I called the place that Karen started going to and made an appointment early last week sometime. I didn’t go to the same doctor as her, mine was Dr. Miller, but I really liked him. I’d recommend the place highly!
Other interesting things I found out this morning:
- I got some blood drawn, so I had to “fast” but it’s hard to wait until 9:45 to have breakfast when you’re used to eating by 8:30! But, don’t worry…I survived.

- I am a generally healthy person.
- My EKG (they have this little portable machine…really neat!) looks good, though I do have this funny heart rhythm where it beats faster, then a tad slower, then faster, then a bit slower. He said it shows up a lot in younger people, so it’s nothing to worry about.
- I, apparently, am still considered a “younger” person. I wonder if that will change when I turn 30…

Anyway, that’s the most interesting information I have to share this morning…Enjoy!
Cheers to good health! –clink — (At this time of the year, aren’t we supposed to do a lot of toasting?)
I would have been starving by 9:45. I usually eat breakfast at 7:30!! Glad to hear you’re still healthy though. I’m starting to think I should schedule something like that. Maybe before the babies come because I know it won’t happen for awhile after!!
I had a physical when I started training for my first half-marathon. I am also a young, healthy person. Except for my headaches and my back.
That is very interesting about the heart rhythm…and that you’re still considered young!! You are really young, but growing older by the second!! I’m, also, glad you survived the fasting ordeal…Xanga would really miss you!!
