I don’t have too much to say today…it wasn’t a very exciting day yesterday, I guess.
- I ran errands in the morning, and I’m almost finished with Christmas presents! I found a couple of shirts for my MIL which were on sale for $9.99 and $14.99, respectively. Yet…when they rang me up, I paid a total of $15.00!
I saved almost $50!!! I
sales! - I spent the afternoon wrapping Christmas presents. I still have a couple to do, but the bulk of them is done now.
- I watched the movie Eight Below while I wrapped presents.
- Eric got home late because of a late meeting. He’d had a Christmas luncheon so our supper schedule was totally off. So he exercised while I had supper (white chicken chili!), and then I made him a light supper later (egg sandwich).
- I got a headache last night. I hate headaches.
I finally had to take an Advil for it, and I never take meds! - We went to bed around 9:30 last night. I slept hard. Although I did wake up when some lady named Dorothy Booker called our house at 1:00 AM!
We, BTW, know NO ONE by that name! - I woke up this morning without a headache. YEAH!!!

I also have individual prescriptions I can take for migraines, but I try to avoid those unless I’m crying, hallucinating, or puking.
^ Oh, and it’s ALL for headaches. ^
I take medicine every single day. Four pills to be exact. Next week, it will be five pills. I don’t even try to avoid it anymore. After I go to the doctor on January 2, it’ll just be two pills, because she’ll up the dosage in the pills, so it’ll be the same amount, just fewer pills.
Sorry about the phone call at 1:00! I’m assuming it was a wrong number. We had a telemarketer call at 3:30 AM a few months ago. They were trying to get us to do a fundraiser or a trip for the church youth group. NO! GO AWAY!
WOw, that is a specific sandwich.
I was shocked to hear that you took Advil. Your head really must have hurt, since even when you take meds, you end up taking Tylenol instead. Sorry about that. I had a headache on Tuesday. It was one of the yucky ones Dad and I get. I knew it was coming during the Sing along at school, but my advil was locked away in my drawer in my classroom. I had to endure the party and then pack up a bit before I finally couldn’t take it anymore and took Advil.
Eric’s sandwich was very specific, too…
“Fancy bread (I’d bought some “artisan” bread), toasted, lightly buttered with a little Miracle Whip on one side, with two eggs (not runny), covered with a piece each of colby and muenster cheese.”
I did my best…he said it was good!
I love medication! If I’m in pain, I take them!
White chicken chili and egg sandwiches both sound good!
