I’m in my office now for the beginning of Friday.  I don’t want to
teach today.  A number of students are missing class today for a
variety of reasons, and I’m starting punctuation in Basic English,
which is usually boring, no matter how hard I try to make it
interesting.  So I’m not really into the whole thing today.
But at least it’s a beautiful day outside!

I got tons of stuff done yesterday.  Got my oil changed and picked
up a few things I needed.  Ran to the library and a
bookstore.  Did the laundry.  Worked through a number of
details for the Christmas program.  I didn’t grade at all, but
that’s okay.  Eric watched a REALLY dumb movie (Barbarella -1968
Jane Fonda) last night that he’d Netflixed, and I watched some of it
while I was doing other things.  REALLY DUMB.  I mean like kind of dumb.

Today, it’s just classes and such.  I’ll try to prep most of my
classes for next week so that I don’t have to think about all of that
anymore, too.  I can’t believe I have like 5-6 classes before
Thanksgiving.  Crazy!  I’ll leave right after classes
tonight, and Eric & I are going out for his birthday.  We
might be going to Easton and then driving the rest of the way to the
farm, so I’ll probably need to pack for the weekend before we
leave.  Such fun!  But it should be a mostly relaxing weekend
anyway!

  1. Have fun at the farm celebrating Eric’s birthday! It sounds fun!!

I, also, like the sound of only 5-6 more classes until Thanksgiving. That means there is less than 2 weeks until it’s here!! YEA!!!

  2. Oops…and I apparently wasn’t watching the screen. Hee hee. That should read “Hope it goes well!” Maybe I should type a whole comment with one hand shifted over…what a challenge!

  3. I’m with Kim…I LOVE punctuation! I love teaching people things they apparently never had a clue about before. But I can see how with college students that could be a challenge. They theink they know it, and they are not into it at all. That’s tough. Gioe ut gies well!

  4. End of the quarter work used to mean no work for awhile for me, but guess what?!  He gave me more monthly work to do, so as long as I pace myself, I’ll stay busy enough!  Very nice!  Makes the days go much faster!
