Here are some pictures from our road trip! We begin with a rainy drive through Pennsylvania…
Next came a stop in New Jersey (a scenic overlook to stretch our legs) and a traffic jam in Connecticut.
Finally we arrived at our hotel and got up on Saturday morning to see the sights of New England…
The castle is Gillette Castle, built in the early 1900’s by William Gillette, the original Sherlock Holmes. The last pic is looking out from the castle.

Eric likes to take pictures of other people and things. It’s his way of getting out of pictures. That’s my theory anyway.
Very pretty. Even in the rainy shots you can see those beautiful colors shining through. If I was in to road trips, I’d go there! In fact, maybe I would go there sans kids and I would be into road trips!
Didn’t you and Eric take any pictures of yourselves?!?! You know we want to see those too!
Great shots. I feel like I was there. It was classic New England. The hills. The boats. The church steeple. Lovely!
Very pretty!!
It was FRICKIN’ COLD IN the arena, too! I did not appreciate that!
“So we just made fun of the scantily clad chicks with shovels a lot.” — I think I used those exact words! Seriously, why is that necessary?!?!?
Very nice. Were you thinking about posting on xanga as you took some of those?
