Oh, I’ll tell you – it’s the guy who works the deli at Meijer on Saturday nights! He starts cutting the pepperoni really thick (after I request “thin”), and I yell to him that’s too thick, so then he stands in front of the machine (so I can’t see it) and cuts it like paper, probably just to annoy me. We go through this every time, so last time I asked if he could show me the first couple of slices. He tells me yes, of course, that’s how they always do it, and looks at me like I’m the stupidest person in the world. If only my husband weren’t a crazy picky pepperoni eater, I’d not get it or get it somewhere else!!

I definitely think that answer begs for an eviction!
I did not know you worked at Kroger! Can you tell me this, because I think this is a valid question for any deli clerk: if people asked for the meat or cheese sliced a certain way, did you slice a little, then show it to them to see if it was the way they wanted it?
