I’ve had a very lazy day so far. I’m not rushing to accomplish anything today, though I have things to get done. I just decided that I’ve been running all week, and I need a break!
Yesterday, I finished classes and worked for a bit in my office, but I was home early (around 5 instead of 6-6:30). We had leftovers for supper, and then I went to the church to rehearse a drama thing for the weekend. I stayed and chatted with one of the ladies and got home about 9, just in time to watch the new Mythbusters with Eric.
Today, I’m going to run some errands in the afternoon. Sometime today, I need to grade some homework I’ve collected. I also could work on the laundry, clean up the kitchen from supper last night, and finish reorganizing my upstairs (ie put everything away now that the furniture is mostly in place).
Sounds like a fun day, huh?
Now the whole chicken pox thing is making sense with the kids!
However, when I was a kid, I had just a fwe chicken pox, AND I had the shingles (I have always thought at the same time) – how is that possible? Have I been lied to all these years?
I vote on continuing the lazy day thing, too! If it were possible, that’s what I would be doing!!
Funny enough – I saw that Kyle pulled some smoked sausage out of the freezer, so I was going to suggest that with homemade mac ‘n cheese! Much like ham and mac ‘n cheese, eh? Very weird. However, Lindsey is coming over for dinner, and that won’t fly with her, so she suggested maybe tacos or pizza. Since Kyle had pizza for dinner last night and will most likely have it for lunch today, I guess we’re having tacos.
au contraire, mon frere. You may look mostly like your mom, but I see some uncle Jack in you too!
You don’t get out of being ornery that easily!
Yeah…I am less than 6 months from 30…so, the older, the wiser, right?
Maybe that’s because she’s the older cousin, so she knows what’s best for us…
You apparently do have a lot of power over us. Don’t let it go to your head!!
Ahh. a lazy day before a long weekend. Nothing better.
It really amazes me that a hurricane can bring rain so far inland. I vote for laziness, too. Hopefully I’ll get off my lazy butt soon and get something done!
I just saw on Michelle’s site that it IS rainy there! Sit around, drink some hot chocolate and read a book!
Well, it’s not that I sing that badly (when I really try to sing), but car singing is something COMPLETELY different…
Mmmm… a lazy day sounds nice! Too bad it’s not raining – those are my favorite days to sit around and do nothing!
I swear – we’re just alike. I had leftovers for dinner last night, too! What are you having tonight? My laundry could definitely use some work, too, but I no longer have lofty goals, like getting it folded, anytime soon!
Yes, Kevin did take all of today off work…because I threatened him with death (or my singing in the car) if he weren’t COMPLETELY ready to leave at exactly two o’clock. I really don’t think he wanted me to sing.
I vote for continuing your lazy day. Yesterday sounds like it was busy!
