Wow! I ended up with 11 comments yesterday…that’s just crazy!
I did get most of my laundry finished…still have the ironing clothes to do. And I have to put away the folded stuff. But I did get that project mostly done. I met Jen for lunch at Panera Bread, and we had a nice time just chatting. Then I ran errands. I stopped into Payless for a minute (no luck!), then ran to Lowe’s to look at paint colors, then to Garden Ridge to just wander around a bit. Then I went home, threw the recyclables in the car and drove them down to the Home Depot where I dropped them off and then looked there for paint colors. Then I came home!
Eric and I just hung out for the evening. We grilled out t-bone steaks (I love that I get my beef free at the farm!). We had to run and get charcoal first, so we (mostly he) planned out the new entertainment center that he’s going to build for our living room while the grill heated up. Then we had dinner and spent the evening just working around.
This morning, Eric got up a bit later than usual, so my schedule is a bit rearranged today. But I’m going to the church to paint for a while, and I need to start getting things ready for our anniversary. I’d like to clean the downstair before we go, and I need to start collecting the supplies/clothes we’ll need when we go. I’m looking forward to the time away, though!
Look at you — this will make 12 comments. Very popular 2 days in a row!! Still didn’t beat out Kim with the comments, but that’s difficult.
Oh, to go back to the days where $100 seemed like all the money you could ever need. That’s back when everything was taken care of for me. I wish those days lasted longer. Now I’m in charge of providing everything for someone else. I guess I wouldn’t trade her in though!
Yet….
Unfortunately…I don’t have such a convenient excuse!
^ ^ Shannah might be pregnant. She forgot her end parentheses. ^ ^
The painting is going well. I’m home for a quick lunch before going back to finish my project.
My friend Jen is also getting forgetful (and she used to NEVER forget things…so don’t worry about it Trisha!
The forgetfulness comes with pregnancy…and then just gets worse as you go along!
I’m glad you got so much accomplished yesterday since your day is going to be all screwed up because your husband got up late today! Have fun painting for VBS!
Trisha asks a lot of questions! (apparently, she forgets a lot, too, because I’m pretty sure you posted about this earlier…)
You got a lot done yesterday. I think I might try to do our laundry today since I didn’t get to it on Monday.
I’m sorry I’m not very loyal. I don’t think Gina and Jason would have felt very entertained watching me type on the computer!
That’s my favorite soup there! (Okay, I think it’s the only thing I’ve ever gotten there, but I really liked it!)
Where are you going for your anniversary? And when? And for how long?
I love that soup, too! I don’t like soup in the bread bowl, though. Soggy bread = not good to me.
I love their black bean soup. So I had a bowl with baguette and lemonade. (I also love their bread bowls, but decided against it yesterday!).
I never find anything at Payless anymore. That doesn’t, however, stop me from looking anytime I’m close to one.
I
Panera. What did you eat there?
